Stability analysis of rock slope under Sujiaba overpass in Chongqing City based on kinematic and numeric methods

Rock slopes have the characteristics of complex geological conditions, weak structural surface development, steep slope, and great damage. In this study, Sujiaba overpass slope in Chongqing was selected as evaluation object, main stability methods rock were analyzed. Combined with special conditions geographical location through a survey, qualitatively analyzed based on stereographic projection method, safety factor calculated by using finite element strength reduction method. FLAC3D used to simulate initial stress state unstable mass, limit mass before bolt support, after support. The simulation results show that coefficients masses W1, W2, W6, W7 under support are, respectively, 1.22, 1.80, 5.90, 2.10. Unstable separate from parent rock, causing large displacement due their instability downward sliding. After for those four are 1.60, 2.40, 8.60, 3.20, respectively. Under same coefficient, stable is small. calculation consistent theoretical understanding field investigation. implementation anti-sliding obviously improved. research important scientific guiding significance practical value revealing failure mechanism analyzing mass.
